Dear Strasburg School District Parent,

 As many of you may have heard and read in our local newspaper due to budget constraints we are implementing some new bus routes for the 2010-2011 school year. These new routes are not our former mud routes but rather modified and shortened regular routes. We have also been able to combine route 55 with routes 1 and 50.

 Below are the turn by turn directions and time changes for pick ups and drop offs that our drivers will be taking when leaving the school. Please keep in mind that all times are approximate and time changes are only noted for those stops that have changed. Please review these to see how these new changes will affect your families. We are hoping to make this a smooth transition with as little inconvenience to our families as possible.

2010-2011 Bus Route Information

Route 1

Go north on Strasburg Mile Road to 112^th, go east to Pass Me By Road, go north, turn around, go back to 112^th and continue on 112^th west to Strasburg Mile Road, go south back to school.

Route 50, North Route

Go north on Strasburg Road to 96^th Ave, east and follow the road around to Headlight Mile Road, take Headlight Mile Road to 136^th (students north of 136^th and Headlight Mile Road to meet the bus at the corner of Headlight Mile Road and 136^th. Pick up time 7:15, drop off time 4:20) Continue west on 136^th to Strasburg Mile Road then go north to curve, go west to Yulle Road then turn around and head back to Strasburg Road. Go south to 112^th (for students east of Headlight Mile Road to meet the bus. Pick up time 7:20, drop off time 4:15) continue south to 88^th (students east and west of 88^th need to meet the bus here at 88^th and Strasburg Mile road. Pick up time 7:25, drop off time is 4:10). Continue South to road 80^th (for students east of Strasburg Mile Road. Pick up 7:27, drop off time is 4:00) continue south to 64^th (students west of Strasburg Road will meet the bus here, pick up time is 7:30, drop off time is 3:50) continue south to school.

Route 52, West Route

This bus will travel west to Yulle Road, go north to Wolf Creek Estates go through the sub division then back to Yulle Road and go north to Horse Shoe Drive back to Yulle Road to 48^th Ave (students north of 48^th will meet the bus at Yulle and 48^th pick up time is 7:20, drop off time is 4:15). Bus will then travel east to Piggott Road then south on Piggott Road to front entrance to Wolf Creek Run, Piggott and 28^th (where students will meet the bus, pick up time is 7:30, drop off time is 4:10). Bus will then go south to 26^th (where students south of 26^th and Yulle Road will meet the bus, pick up time is 7:40, drop off time is 3:45). Bus will then go east on 26^th to back entrance of Wolf Creek Run, 26^th and Renshaw (where students in back half of sub division will load the bus. Bus will then return to the school.

Route 53, South on CR 149

Bus will travel down CR 157 to CR 46 then travel west to CR 149 picking up students on CR 149 and the intersections (one exception is student off CR 14 on CR 151 will meet the bus at CR 14 and CR 149. Pick up time is 7:30, drop off time is 4:10). Bus will travel north to CR 6 going east to CR 157 to north entrance of Galbraith trailer park, then return to school.

Route 54

Take Hwy 36 east to CR 165, go north to Hwy 2, go east to Bradbury Krebs Road, go north to CR 72, go east to Peerless Mine Road, go south, then turn around and go back to Bradbury Krebs Road and go south to 26^th, go west to Headlight (students on 72^nd west of Bradbury Krebs Road will meet the bus here. Pick up time is 7:30, drop off time is 4:10). Bus will go south on Headlight Mile Road to 42^nd then go west to Flandin Court. Bus will then travel south to Hwy 36, go west to Comanche Drive, go north, then follow road around to Comanche Circle, follow road back to Comanche Drive back to Hwy 36 going west and returning to school.

Route 55

This route has been combined with routes 50 and route 1.

Route 57, Wolf Creek Farm and West Hutton Division

Go north on Strasburg Mile Road to 42^nd Court, go east to Defoe, go north, turn around and go back to Strasburg Mile Road. Go south to 39^th Ave., go west to Burton, go north to 40^th Ave, go west to Sharilane, go north to 41^st Ave, go west to Willow, go south to 39^th, go east to Sharilane, go north to 40^th Ave., go east to Burton, go North to 41^st Ave., go east to Adams, go south to 39^th, go west to Wagner, go south to 28^th, go east to Strasburg Mile Road traveling south back to school.

Route 59, South

Take CR 157 south to CR 46, turn around and go north on CR 157 to CR 42, go east to CR 161, go north to CR 30 (students east of CR 161 meet at CR 161 and CR 30, pick up time is 7:25, drop off is 4:20) go west to 157, and go north back to school.

Route 60

Take Strasburg Mile Road north to 112^th, go to 6164 112^th to pick up special needs students. Turn around, go back to Strasburg Mile Road to Yerkes for wheel chair student, turn around, go back to Strasburg Mile Road, go to 24^th Ave for stop then continue to school.

Route 61, Heights and Comanche Crossing

Take highway over pass, go south on Arrowhead Street to 6^th Ave., go west to Wolf Creek Drive, go north to Bobcat Lane, follow road around to Wolf Creek Drive, go to Antelope, go north to Bison, go east to CR 153, go south to Tomahawk Ave., go to Cherokee Street, go south to 6^th Ave., go east to Pawnee, go north to Apache, go west to Cherokee Street, go to Tomahawk, go east to Arrowhead, go north back to school.
