Hello, I'm Mr. Elliott.

I grew up in Kalamazoo, MI. After high school, I attended the University of Colorado, Boulder from 1980-1984. I've been teaching music for 36 years. My first teaching position was in Cheyenne Wells, CO from 1985-1988. Then I took a teaching position in Deer Trail where I taught for six years. Then I took the teaching position here in Strasburg in 1993.

In 1993, I married Diana, a Strasburg graduate.

Diana already had two children, Evan and Alyssa.

Now, we have four grand children; Piper (Evan) and McKenna, Emelia and Josie (Alyssa and Andy).

I am very happy to be the music director/conductor of our community band, The High Plains Music Ensemble. 

When not involved with music activities, I enjoy photography and exploring back roads.
