Dear Strasburg Community,

I am thrilled to continue my journey as your superintendent for a second year. It has been an inspiring experience working alongside such dedicated students, families, staff, and community members. As I reflect on our shared successes and look ahead to the future, I remain committed to the core values that guide my approach to education, leadership, and building a strong, united community.

These principles are the foundation of how we work together to ensure every student has the opportunity to thrive:

1. Students First: The well-being and success of our students continue to be my top priority. Every decision we make, policy we implement, and initiative we pursue will remain centered on what benefits our students and helps them grow into confident, capable individuals.

2. Progress Over Perfection: I believe in the power of continuous improvement. We will focus on making steady progress, embracing challenges as opportunities for growth and learning. This mindset keeps us moving forward and fosters resilience and innovation.

3. Genuine and Authentic Relationships: Building meaningful relationships remains essential. I am committed to fostering an environment where everyone feels valued and respected, knowing that trust and collaboration are the keys to our collective success.

4. Everyone Has a Story Worth Hearing: Our community’s diversity brings strength and richness. I am dedicated to listening and learning from the unique stories of students, families, and staff, which deepen our understanding and compassion.

5. Find the Joy: Education is meant to inspire and bring joy. Let’s celebrate our achievements, big and small, and find joy in the learning journey. A positive atmosphere fuels enthusiasm and curiosity among students and staff alike.

6. Admit Mistakes: We are human, and mistakes are part of growth. I encourage transparency and reflection, turning errors into opportunities to learn, adapt, and become better educators and leaders.

7. Everything is Figureoutable: Challenges are inevitable, but with creativity, teamwork, and perseverance, we can overcome any obstacle. I believe in our collective ability to find solutions and push through barriers.
