Dan believes that the purposeful intentionality of mission, vision, programming, student voice, continuous feedback and short cycle professional development of all staff provides impactful outcomes for student achievement.
He is highly leveraged in instructional practices, school site operations, district governance, industry engagement, principal supervision, principal pipeline design, aspiring to leadership programs, equity strategies, distance learning, career and technical education, dropout prevention, athletics, charter school partnerships, policy and nontraditional educational programs.
Dan has planned, implemented and deftly executed grant-based initiatives and produced revenue generating strategies at the district level. His career encompasses stratified industry experiences in management and educational instruction in elementary, high school, college and in school district administration. Postsecondary education includes an MBA in Business Transformation and Information Technology, Educational Leadership, CTE Director Licensure, Principal Licensure, and Superintendent Licensure. A Governor appointee to the Colorado Concurrent Enrollment Advisory Board in July of 2015 and Colorado School Counseling Advocate of the Year in 2016.
